Chancellor Rishi Sunak made the announcement Tuesday 17th of March that borrowers would be allowed a 3 months payment break if they have been affected financially by the Coronavirus.
Since then many lenders have put in place systems to action the payment holidays. However due to massive demand getting through to lenders and putting in place the payment break can sometimes be time consuming.
Customers concerned about their financial situation should get in touch with their lenders at the earliest opportunity to discuss if this is a suitable option for them.
